Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris)

The Scots pine is very plastic, frugal, resistant to cold. It can be introduced in the open, it is a colonizer. It is mainly found in two different situations: montane and supramediterranean levels. It likes light and accepts different types of soils, even the poorest and most superficial, but it can sometimes show signs of asphyxiation on marly limestone soils.
